On the other hand, Zoey (the long-coated sable) has her quirks. like barking at motorcycles but remaining calm around bicycles. that can complicate our trips sometimes.

- Packing essentials: Bring items like their favorite blanket or crate (which works wonders), food bowls, water bottles, treats (don’t skimp!), leashes (one each!), waste bags…you get it!
- Create a safe space: Whether it’s harnessing them in or putting up barriers between front seats or cargo areas—make sure they’re secure during travel.
- Sunscreen for dogs: Believe me; both my girls need sunscreen too! Zoy tends to sunburn easily due to her lighter fur.
If you forget something important early on—you’ll regret it when driving through remote areas without access to supplies!
