Editorial Standards

2GermanShepherds.com exists to help German Shepherd owners make good decisions for their
dogs. Every article on this site is held to the standards below.

Experience First

Our content is grounded in 15+ years of hands-on German Shepherd ownership — raising
puppies, managing seniors, and living with the breed’s real quirks day to day. We write about
what we have actually done, and we say so plainly when something is outside our experience.

Health Topics Have a Hard Line

We are dog owners, not veterinarians. Health articles describe what owners commonly
observe and when to seek professional care — they never diagnose, dose, or replace a vet
visit. Any article touching health carries a reminder to consult a veterinarian.

Product Mentions

If we mention gear or products, it is because they are relevant to the topic. Affiliate
relationships, where they exist, never change our assessment of whether something is worth
your money — and we will tell you when something is not.

Accuracy & Updates

We review and update popular guides as best practices evolve. If we get something wrong,
we fix it and note the correction — see our
Corrections Policy.
